Darryl Cazares & The Good News
Founder and CEO Darryl Cazares started playing competitive sports at the young age of seven years old in Little League baseball, then Pop Warner Football, adding track & field to both sports all the way through high school into his most passionate times of semi-pro tackle football for an amazing twenty one (21) years. Cazares attributes his success both on and off the field to a good Christian home life, a tireless appetite for competition, a growing Faith and strong commitment to proper nutrition and health.

He was not only a gifted in high school, but a highly distinguished individual earning many honors as a student-athlete: 1982 L.A. Times Running Back of the Year, MVP Rio Hondo Valley, 1st Team All-League, 1st Team All Southeast Section, 1st Team All Area and 1st Team All C.I.F at Bell Gardens High School.
Now, as an entrepreneur, Cazares has taken those competitive talents, a personal drive and company formation skills into starting new ventures in the payment processing business and also into Health and Nutrition Brands. Optimized Nutrition, Grand Slam Nutrition, Hole In 1 Drinks and now Good News Hydration. Through private capital, Cazares has successfully launched four companies that stand to benefit in the marketplace and share the message of the Bible.
